HOW IT WORKS
You DO NOT have to give your name to be eligible to receive a cash reward. The program work by receiving the first accurate tipster with information that leads law enforcement to an arrest and/or charges filed, you could earn a reward up to $1,000.
A tipsters INITIAL call, text or web tip MUST be made to Crime Stoppers to be eligible for the reward. Tipsters working directly with police are not eligible for a reward through Crime Stoppers.
Johnson County Crime Stoppers relies on a volunteer Board of Directors and tax deductible contributions from business, corporations, individuals, and service organizations.
We solicit donations in order to pay rewards to people who have provided information concerning criminal activity. You can make a difference right now, and we need your help. Please be a part of solving crime and keeping Johnson County safe. Thanks in advance for your financial support.
Anonymity is not Crime Stoppers’ promise -- IT IS THE LAW. In Texas, a person, including a law enforcement officer, may commit a crime if the person intentionally or knowingly divulges the identity of a Crime Stoppers Tipster. Crime Stoppers needs the information you have regarding crimes and criminals, not your name. To further ensure a tipster’s identity is never known, CRIME STOPPERS PAYS REWARDS ONLY FOR ANONYMOUS TIPS; tipsters who identify themselves are not eligible for payment.
